Therapeutic approaches
Emma draws on a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring therapy to your needs.
You don’t need to know which approach is right - together, you’ll find a way of working that supports you best.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
Processes difficult or traumatic memories that continue to impact you, helping to reduce distress and change how you experience the present.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Helps you understand and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours, supporting improved mood and wellbeing.

Schema Therapy
Focuses on long-standing patterns and beliefs, helping you develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Changing your relationship with difficult experiences, thoughts and emotions through deep acceptance, and clarifying your values in order to live more in line with them.

Somatic Approaches
Recognise the connection between mind and body, supporting you to tune into physical responses and gently process emotions held in the body.

Developing practical skills and tools for regulating your emotions, improving your relationships and living more mindfully, to ultimately create a life worth living.
